NON-IMPLEMENTATION OF INTERNSHIP AND PROPER PLACEMENT OF GRADUATE NURSES BY OAUTH AND FMC LOKOJA
Compliments of the season and Nightingales’ greetings from members of this association! We wish to sincerely appreciate your selfless effort in ensuring that nurses’ rights and entitlements are accorded to them in our health system. Your intervention over our recent complaint to your office on exclusion of nurse interns from internship adverts of University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Enugu and Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Zaria yielded the desired fruit as these institutions have now implemented the graduate nurses internship. We say “THANK YOU AND PRAY GOD ALMIGHT TO BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY”!!!
2. We also wish to bring to your esteemed attention that Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital (OAUTH), Ile-Ife and Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Lokoja have not implemented the internship and proper placement of the graduate nurses.
3. Consequently, we have written them on the subject matter and copied your esteemed office for your kind intervention.
4. Attached herewith are your copies of the letter we wrote the management of the referred institutions.
