The National Leadership of University Graduates of Nursing Science Association (UGONSA), aka Graduates Nurses Association of Nigeria (GNAN), brings Easter greetings to all her members and indeed the general Nursing community in Nigeria.
"Easter Season as celebrated by Christians all over the world is a time for sober reflection on the life and times of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. It is a moment to remember his love and passion for humanity, His selfless life and Sacrificial death to redeem mankind. The Leadership of UGONSA, therefore, urge our Christian Colleagues to imbibe the exemplary life set by our Lord Jesus in their daily lives, relationship with one another and in selfless and sacrificial services to our Clients and Patients whom we are under oath to care for. We charge you also to soberly reflect on your calling into this noble profession and allow the spirit of Love, Tolerance, Unity, Peace and Caring to guide your daily affairs.
"We seized this opportunity also to call on other leaders of this great profession to lead with the fear of God, respect and love to humanity as we pray that God will endow them with the spirit of wisdom to navigate the affairs of the profession. We also call on the National, States, and Units leadership of our mother union, The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), to selflessly address the issues that are tearing the unity of nurses apart.
"We pray for Peace and Unity in Nursing Profession and in Nigeria at large.
Thank you.
*UGONSA.. Make a Positive change!.*

Nur. Eteng, P.O.
